Greetings!

On behalf of the Flag Officers, Board of Directors, our great Club Staff and myself, I welcome you to our Club's 83rd year. I am honored to serve as your Commodore this year and I am prepared to manage your club responsibility, giving you the quality amenities and service that you have come to expect. Our strength heree at the Westerly Yacht Club is its membership, containing a broad range of interests and talents.

Deidre and I would like to thank all of my committee chairs and their members. Without their help, management of the club would be impossible. I would also like ot thank all of my friends who have encouraged and supported me for the past four years. Since I became in our club's leadership, I was amazed at the generosity and energy of these people! We have an all star cast of committee chairs who are all planning great events, lending the experience and creativity that make each function unique and enjoyable. Please come down and support their efforts.

I would also like to thank Steve and Carol Sposato, Jerry and Patty McKinney, Vic and Peg Arnold and John Brockman for their countless hours spent on producing our clubs directory. I hope you will find it both useful and informative. Not only does it serve as a way to contact fellow members, but it serves as a guide to your enjoyment of the club. It contains all of the information you'll need to find function dates, the committee chairs who will manage them as well as the rules and guidelines that will make every visit enjoyable for all. Plesase consider patronizing all of our sponsors, many of whom are members. A special thanks to my friend Tom Toscano who provided the arial photo found on the cover of our directory.

In closing, I would like ot invite you along with your families to join Diedre and myself at our club. I am looking forward to a great year and meeting new friends. The scenic views, great facility, and fantastic people are what makes this club second to none.
