General Membership Meetings are held at 7:30 P.M. on the Wednesday following the second Monday in April, June, September, November and February. The General Membership Meeting held in September will receive the report of the Nominating Committee and to receive counter nominations from the floor. The November meeting is the Annual Meeting for the election of officers and board members. A minimum of 30 members, or 5% of the voting membership, whichever is less, is required for a quorum at these meetings.

Membership applications are available year round in the club lounge or at the main office, which is located on the second floor of the Clubhouse. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. A new application must be completed for each year to remain on the waiting list.

Club dues and dock fees must be approved by the general membership at the November General Membership Meeting held for the adoption of the club budget. The dues for the 200-2009 fiscal year are $404 and the capital assessment is $80. DUES MUST BE PAID IN FULL ON OR BEFORE MARCH 31. Per WYC By-laws, any dues payment received after this date will be returned, and the member dropped for non-payment. The initiation fee for new members is $600. Members currently holding dock slips or moorings must make payment in full on or before January 31. New requests for dockage may be made by completing a Dock Application Form, available in the club lounge or at the main office. A new application must be completed for each year to remain on the waiting list. Openings will be filled by the Harbor Master, in conjunction with the Dock Committee and the Board of Directors, as they occur.

Upon request, members may obtain guest cards for their properly registered guests good for a maximum of two weeks. The cards may be obtained from the Commodore or House Committee Chairman.

Your membership card is a key card that allows you access to the club. Use of the card is restricted to members and their spouses. A WYC decal is issued to all members, and must be placed in the lower left corner of the windshield in order to park in the member's area of the lot. Guests should use the guest parking lot, designated by posted "Guest Parking" signs. Members are requested to use the guest parking lot if they are leaving by boat for more than 3 days.

The House Committee is responsible for the use of the facilities. Members requesting use of the facility shall contact the Club Steward (401) 596-7556 to ascertain availability and make arrangements.
